How to become a DeFi influencer

You know what is more frustrating than working at McDonalds and flipping fries all day?

When I was a Crypto noob someone told me about a great OTC deal.

“Guaranteed to go over 10x”

If you don’t know what an OTC deal is … it means you get tokens that aren’t available for trading at a price the seller thinks the tokens should be available for when listed.

Say the person farmed points and was rewarded the tokens but the tokens aren’t tradable and he wants to sell them.

They look for OTC dealers and brokers to make the trade happen without anybody being cheated

Back to my story…

Everything was sunshine and rainbows.

Except I missed one little detail… 

I had ZERO capital to invest.

So here’s what you need to know:

Stop focusing on…

• Copy & paste proposal for crypto jobs you know you’ll never get.

• Looking poorly for early projects.

• Asking employers to accept your friend request.

You want a personal brand that’ll bring you money on all fronts.

Instead use these methods…

1. Be selective to get selected.

• Pick best protocols in the industry

• Should not have too many employees

• Choose Start-ups with at least $5,000 daily revenue

• Write in-depth threads about them and they’ll approach you after a week.

2. Build Friendships & Trust

70% of highly-paid jobs are from recommendations

Friendships = Recommendations

But hey show them that you’re not just looking for opportunities.

You actually want to help them and build a friendship.

3. A Closed Mouth is a Closed Destiny

• Speak up if you feel wronged

• Speak up if you feel underpaid

• Speak up if you feel disrespected

• Speak up if you’re not up to the task

Always stand up for yourself.

Apart from speaking up…

You should always add extra income.

Create paid courses. Share free resources. Start cohorts. Do 1-1 mentorships— If you have the capacity to teach, do it and make money too.

Followers don’t pay bills. Traffic and content that sells do.
